Sami Zayn Goes On Rant After WWE Title Loss: “That Motherf*cker”

After his recent unfortunate Undisputed WWE Title loss, Sami Zayn expressed his frustration through an angry rant.

After more than a decade in the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut, Sami Zayn finally achieved the dream of becoming the WWE Champion, as he defeated Cody Rhodes and Gunther in a triple-threat title match at Night of Champions 2026. However, Sami’s championship celebration was short-lived, as Cody became his first challenger after beating Jey Uso on SmackDown last Friday.

This past Monday on RAW, Sami Zayn was slated to defend his Undisputed title against Cody Rhodes before Gunther took Cody out backstage. As a replacement for Rhodes, CM Punk made his return in his hometown, Chicago, to challenge Sami in the main event.

It turned out to be a great main event, where Punk defeated Zayn to capture the WWE Championship right after his return. After the big title change, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that Sami dropping the Undisputed title to Punk was always the plan because the Second City Saint was supposed to return for a while:

Well, this was the plan all throughout that. Like they knew that they were leading to this. They always knew that Sami Zayn was going to drop this title to CM Punk because they have known when CM Punk was going to come back for a while.”

As Sami Zayn had won the WWE Championship at Night of Champions 2026 after many years of hard work, many fans were disappointed that his first-ever title reign lasted only nine days. In a backstage promo after RAW, Sami expressed his frustration through an angry rant.

During his rant, Zayn addressed his 24 years of hard work in wrestling and called CM Punk a piece of sh*t and motherf*cker for taking away his title after only nine days:

How is it that after 24 years of crawling and inching for every little inch to get the WWE Championship, after I finally get it, NINE DAYS AFTER I GET! That piece of sh*t can walk back in here, after not being here for months, for months, and walks right in and gets it? That motherf*cker. He has no business, no business!” [H/T Fightful]

It remains to be seen what’s next for Sami Zayn after losing the Undisputed WWE title.
