WWE Star Oba Femi now has another official nickname.

Saying that Oba Femi has made an impact since his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble PLE in January would be an understatement. The Ruler relinquished his NXT Championship and made a move to the main roster, and after weeks of teasing via vignettes, fans finally got to see him perform at the Royal Rumble PLE when he came face-to-face with Brock Lesnar in the gimmick match.

Femi later answered an open challenge issued by Brock Lesnar for WrestleMania 42 and the two feuded in the build-up to the event. On night 2 of the Showcase of the Immortals, Oba Femi showcased his dominance and put Lesnar away in a matter of minutes. Lesnar then took off his gloves and boots and left them in the ring, signalling retirement.

This major win over The Beast Incarnate has now earned Oba Femi a new name. WWE has officially labelled him the “Beast Slayer”, a name he was referred to as on WWE Raw this past Monday.

A fan account posted about it on X.

Fans in the comments noted that Seth Rollins was also once called The Beast Slayer.

Oba Femi Dominates Otis In His Open Challenge On WWE RAW

The Ruler wasted no time in continuing his domination of the Raw roster as he announced the Oba Femi open challenge on Raw following WWE WrestleMania 42.

The challenge officially began this week, and the first challenger was Otis of Alpha Academy. His tag team partner, Tozawa, a cruiserweight, initially attempted to challenge the Ruler but backed off immediately after a stare-down when he realised it was too high a mountain to climb.

The 330-pound Otis then had a bout with Femi, and while he initially didn’t seem to be going down, Femi quickly gained momentum and hit Otis with a massive flying uppercut followed by a Fall From Grace from the top rope to pick up the victory.

If these initial glimpses are anything to go by, it looks like Oba Femi will be a dominant force on the Raw roster and is a major star in the making.
