WWE News: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to Appear on Raw from Madison Square Garden on Sept. 9
The following was announced by WWE today:
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be on hand to raise some hell when Monday Night Raw comes to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sept. 9.
Combination and individual event tickets for the back-to-back Raw and SmackDown LIVE shows are available now at ticketmaster.com.
The last time Monday Night Raw took place at MSG was Nov. 16, 2009, featuring John Cena & The Undertaker against Triple H & Shawn Michaels of D-Generation X against Chris Jericho & Big Show of JeriShow in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.

TJR Thoughts: It’s a big Raw because it’s the first Raw in MSG in nearly 10 years as it noted there. Plus, it’s going against Monday Night Football’s premiere that week with two games. Also, Steve Austin has “Straight Up with Steve Austin” on USA Network after Raw, so they can plug that too. The event is not sold out yet, so maybe Austin’s presence will help. It usually does.
WWE has also advertised The Undertaker on Smackdown, also at MSG, on September 10 as well.
