WWE Star Ludwig Kaiser’s Real-Life Girlfriend Andrea Bazarte Breaks Silence After His Arrest
Ludwig Kaiser has been in the news over the last several days following his arrest on battery charges.
Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, performs as the masked luchador El Grande Americano on the WWE main roster as well as AAA Lucha Libre.
He is involved in a feud with the “Original” El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) after Gable returned from a months-long injury at the 2026 Royal Rumble. The two Americanos are set to clash in a Mask vs. Mask match at Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Ludwig Kaiser was arrested on May 20 by the Orlando Police Department, who had received a complaint from a man claiming he had been attacked; the incident occurred on April 23. Kaiser was released after posting a $1,000 bail, with his mugshot going viral on the internet.
Kaiser’s match against Gable is arguably the biggest one of his wrestling career. His lawyers urged the court to ease restrictions on his travel, which seemingly has been granted.
Under his El Grande Americano persona, the 35-year-old recently made his first public appearance in Mexico City since his arrest. Videos online show fans cheering for him, bringing him to tears.

Ludwig Kaiser’s Girlfriend Reacts To His Homecoming
Attending a serenade event by AAA Lucha Libre in Mexico City, El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) received a hero’s welcome, where he greeted fans as they cheered for him.
There is no question that the last few days must have taken a toll on the German national, who apparently has had no prior run-ins with the law anywhere in the world.
Reacting to the reception Kaiser received in Mexico City, his girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, shared an Instagram Story, where she claimed to be his #1 fan.

ICE Report Emerges After Ludwig Kaiser’s Arrest
When Richard Reap filed the case against Ludwig Kaiser, he detailed the scenario that led to the WWE wrestler physically assaulting him.
Reap claimed that he got into an elevator, where he spotted Kaiser with a woman and claimed that the couple was getting “uncontrollably intimate.”
While exiting the elevator, he told them to “please have some manners,” which he said led to Kaiser punching him several times, even pushing him to the ground and threatening him with more violence.
Now, another report has emerged claiming that Reap threatened to call ICE on Kaiser’s girlfriend, which led to the scuffle between the two.
This is what I heard regarding the Ludwig Kaiser situation. He was in the apartment elevator with Andrea Bazarte, and they were being affectionate, but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary.
