Change could be coming to WWE WrestleMania.

On the March 29th episode of SmackDown, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller saw off The Street Profits to earn a spot in the Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match at WrestleMania. Elsewhere on the show, New Catch Republic defeated Legado del Fantasma to also secure their place in the match.

After the two matches, the line-up for the Ladder Match is complete, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be changes.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that although Austin Theory and Grayson Waller won their way into the match, their position is up for discussion.

“By the way, even though Theory and Waller won. It is not necessarily that they’re going to be in that match. They might be. There is a meeting upcoming where they will make a decision on that,”

WWE Planning WrestleMania Surprise

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that WWE currently has a “mystery slot” listed in the WrestleMania schedule. There’s been a great deal of speculation that the segment could be an appearance from John Cena, although that is very much just a rumour at this stage.

There have also been reports that WWE has made an “overture” to Steve Austin about appearing at the spectacular.
