A WWE Hall of Famer recently discussed their initial struggles with wrestling icon Lita.

Torrie Wilson appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show for a candid chat about her time in the promotion and life outside it.

Wilson was brought in during The Invasion storyline, debuting as a heel in June 2001 on SmackDown. She was paired alongside Vince McMahon as his latest affair.

During her 7-year run with the promotion, she had several controversial angles as a performer, which did not necessarily do justice to her in-ring work.

Torrie Wilson is though a well-liked figure within the WWE Universe, as fans remember her charisma and athleticism during the Divas era, paving the way for the current female wrestlers.

While speaking to Helwani, the 50-year-old explained how the women’s locker room was tense back in the day. She even detailed her initial struggles with fellow Hall of Famer Lita.

Now that I’m going down memory lane, I’m thinking of Lita, too. She took a long while to warm up. I joke around with her sometimes about it because we did a pay-per-view poster together and we had to shoot this before a TV taping. So, we went in early that day for the shoot and I remember walking into the locker room to put my makeup on, and I was like, “Hi, Lita!,” and she, like, didn’t even say ‘hi’ back. She didn’t talk to me all day. I love her to death now. [28:20 onwards]

Torrie Wilson Open To WWE Return

On a different interview with Shak Wrestling, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that she was open to an in-ring return.

However, she also clarified that it was not something she was actively pursuing.

I feel like if you’ve ever been in wrestling, the door is never completely closed. But people ask me a lot, like, ‘Do you have another match in you?’, and I’m like, ‘Yes, of course.’ Like, if something awesome came along, how would I not have that in me?

Since retiring, Wilson has made sporadic appearances on TV.

She was last seen during the 2024 WWE Draft alongside Michelle McCool.

Elsewhere, Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has kept the door to his in-ring return open, too.
