WWE Newcomer Danhausen Files Very Evil Trademark

Danhausen has just taken his gimmick to the next level.

Danhausen has been the talk of the town in the WWE Universe since he was introduced as the man inside a mystery crate at the Elimination Chamber PLE.

Since then, Danhausen has been appearing on both the red and blue brands in numerous backstage segments with multiple stars from the roster and curses those who disagree with an alliance with him.

The curse then brings bad luck to the victims, which makes Danhausen’s goth gimmick a comedic one.

The new star has recently filed for a trademark for his character.

WWE Star Danhausen Trademarks His “You Are Cursed” Catchphrase

Danhausen has filed a new trademark application for one of his most recognizable catchphrases, submitting paperwork to the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the term “YOU ARE CURSED!” following his recent debut at the Stamford-based promotion.

According to Wrestlingnews.co The application was submitted on March 25 under serial number 99726702 and lists the first use of the phrase as December 2019, predating his time in both AEW and WWE. The filing covers a broad range of goods and services.

This filing comes after WWE has already been filing trademarks for the character, making it a parallel filing with both parties.

Danhausen is yet to have a wrestling match in WWE.
