Trick Williams Invites Rapper Friend To WWE SmackDown
Trick Williams has just dropped a bombshell following this week’s WWE SmackDown episode.
Trick Williams is one of the fastest-rising stars in WWE. Since he debuted in the main roster, he has been over with the fans who are in love with his charisma, in-ring abilities, and catchy theme song.
Although Trick is currently in the mid-card, he was seen directly approaching SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis on one of his first appearances on the main roster and crossing paths with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, even telling Rhodes that he would be coming for The American Nightmare’s Title.
He was initially in the main event scene and was involved in major bouts like a fatal four-way at Saturday Night’s Main Event before the Royal Rumble to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Title. He was even part of the Elimination Chamber match in the eponymous PLE, which Randy Orton eventually ended up winning.
Throughout this time, Williams has been crossing paths with and taunting Sami Zayn, who ended up winning that fatal four-way match Williams was in. He has reminded Zayn that he never gets the job done, despite getting multiple opportunities for the top title.
This past Friday on SmackDown, Williams was told by Nick Aldis that he would feature in WrestleMania 42. When Zayn approached Aldis at the same time, he was told that there was no opportunity for him at ‘Mania 42.
Williams began to rub in Zayn’s face that he would be at ‘Mania and Zayn wouldn’t, which led to Sami attacking him.
Later that night, Williams was ringside for Zayn’s match against Carmelo Hayes for the US Title, but a botched interference from Williams enabled Zayn to win and become the new Champion.
Trick Williams Wants To Bring His Friend, Rapper Lil Yachty, To SmackDown Next Week
Trick Williams will now officially face Sami Zayn for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Williams took to X to post a clip about how he wanted to change the dynamics on SmackDown by introducing his friend, rapper Lil Yachty, by getting him on the show next week.
Trick Williams can also be seen putting Zayn down in the video.
So after last night, I’ve been in deep contemplation about what’s going on around here, and how in the world did the gingerbread man walk out with the United States Championship last night?
So this is what we’re gonna do about it. We’re about to change up the whole dynamic. I want to personally invite my boy, I’m talking about my day one, my longtime HBCU brother, Lil Yachty.
I need for you to pull up to WWE SmackDown this week. We’re in St. Louis. I need you to come through, spice things up, talk to these four men, and let them know what’s going on around here.
The games are done. Grown men are talking. Pull up on me, dog. Let’s talk about it.
We about to spice things up next week in St. Louis. Let’s talk about it 🙏🏾🙏🏾@lilyachtypic.twitter.com/Pc8ivRCd6E
