A worrying health update regarding Jacob Fatu has surfaced online.

Fatu was recently involved in a heated rivalry with his cousin, Roman Reigns. The Samoan Werewolf challenged the Original Tribal Chief on two different occasions for the World Heavyweight Championship.

On both occasions, he failed to defeat Reigns and, as a result, was later forced to acknowledge Reigns as his Tribal Chief. Hence, Jacob Fatu has officially joined The Bloodline under Roman Reigns’ leadership on Monday Night Raw.

Jacob Fatu Is Currently Dealing With Real-Life Back And Ankle Injuries

Ibou of Self-made recently commented on the Tribal Combat between Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns at Clash in Italy. Ibou stated that the match had a much slower pace than usual because Fatu was not competing at 100%.

Ibou added that Fatu is likely dealing with back and ankle injuries.

“The thing is, it looks like an ankle and a back issue. And I’ll tell you this. He was not particularly mobile at all in the match, which is why they did a really slow walk and brawl for a lot of it.”

According to the reports, Fatu got hurt during a WWE live event in Liverpool, England. He was wrestling in a street fight against Solo Sikoa when the injury happened. Fans at the show saw him land badly and limp to the back.

Last year, Jacob Fatu had to deal with a serious dental issue. He went on a three-month hiatus late last year, starting in October 2025. He was written off television after a brutal backstage attack by Drew McIntyre on an episode of SmackDown.

He underwent a major non-wrestling procedure where the doctors pulled out 11 teeth from the back of his mouth. He finally returned to action in January 2026.
