Why Steve Austin Thinks He Could Thrive In Modern Day WWE
Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the most renowned names in the pro-wrestling industry. But would he thrive in this era?
The Texas Rattlesnake was the leading name in WWE during the Attitude Era. He had the fans supporting him as he made his way through WWE by dissecting the authorities.
While the current scenario in WWE is much different from what it was then, the underlying foundations remain the same.
Stone Cold Steve Austin gives his opinion about working in the ‘Modern Era’
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that old footage of athletes might seem as if they weren’t fast enough or big enough to be working in the current industry, but that would be wrong. Similarly, if he were to be in today’s era, he would thrive just as much.
Well, I would have had to, and you know this, kind of when you see old footage of Jim Brown, the great running back. It looks like he wasn’t that fast, but he was and he was big and he was just running over everybody so it’d be like, hey, could Jim Brown thrive in today’s NFL? Yes, he could. He was that damn good so, yeah, of course I think I could navigate the waters because the talent is what it is and it’s a high level but, if you could make it in any era, I think you could make it in today’s era.
