Why Seth Rollins Didn’t Press Charges After Fan Attacked Him On WWE RAW
Seth Rollins has revealed why he chose not to press charges against the fan who attacked him during a live edition of WWE Raw.
Fans should always remember to stay on the correct side of the barricade when they come to live wrestling events, but that cardinal rule was not followed on an infamous episode of WWE Raw back in 2021.
Seth Rollins was standing in the entranceway when he was jumped from behind by a fan. Rollins was knocked to the ground before security swarmed and dragged the offender away. Thankfully, no lasting damage was done to Rollins, and he chose not to press charges against his assailant. Now he’s explained why.
Seth Rollins’ Attacker “Not All There”
Speaking on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Seth Rollins noted that he believed the fan in question was suffering mentally, and he didn’t think putting him through the legal process would be of any value:
That guy, from my understanding, he was catfished by somebody pretending to be me. And he was not, I don’t want to be rude, but he was not all there. There was something off about him, for me it felt like the wrong thing to do, to try to get him incarcerated in any way. And he wasn’t the person that had the means to pay for a big fine or go through a whole legal process.
