Current WWE Champion Teases Challenging CM Punk After SummerSlam

CM Punk shocked the world last week on Monday Night RAW as he defeated Sami Zayn to become the Undisputed WWE Champion on his first night back in months.

Zayn was set to defend his title against Cody Rhodes on the show, but he was taken out by Gunther earlier in the night. CM Punk as drafted in at the last minute and he dethroned Zayn in just 9 days.

Following his win, he was confronted by Cody Rhodes on last week’s show and the two agreed to face each other at WWE SummerSlam.

CM Punk faced with another challenge for the WWE Title

As CM Punk was backstage tonight, he ran into one-half of the current WWE Tag Team Champions, Damian Priest, and the two shared a candid conversation.

During their chat, Priest told Punk that once he’s done with Rhodes at SummerSlam, he will come after Punk and the Undisputed Championship.

Punk accepted Priest’s proposal before eyeing Damian’s titles as well. He joked that if him and Cody are successful tomorrow, they may come after Priest and R-Truth’s tag team champions.
