Roman Reigns Closes Off WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event With Jalen Brunson
Roman Reigns didn’t have a match at SNME tonight, but he still showed up to the event, as advertised by WWE. He was accompanied by The King of New York, Jalen Brunson.
The crowd at MSG saw Reigns hand a custom New York Knicks WWE Championship belt to Jalen Brunson. He then asked everyone to acknowledge both of them.
Moments later, Seth Rollins’ music hit, and Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton showed up instead. While Tyrese caused a distraction, Rollins attacked Reigns from behind. The Visionary kicked The OTC in the face and prepared him for a stomp over the steel chair.
Brunson stopped him, and that was enough time for Reigns to recuperate. He connected a Superman punch and followed it up with a spear on Rollins to force Tyrese Haliburton and Seth Rollins to retreat.
Roman Reigns and Brunson posed with the Larry O’Brien Trophy and the World Heavyweight Championship to close the show in a grand fashion.
