Roman Reigns Stands Tall AT WWE SNME After NBA Star Saves Him From Brutal Attack

The final segment of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event saw two legends of the sports industry share the ring with each other.

Roman Reigns invited the 2026 NBA Finals MVP, Jalen Brunson, to the show and the two of them shared the ring to close out the show at Madison Square Garden.

Reigns presented Brunson with a custom version of the World Heavyweight Championship and then asked everyone at the MSG to acknowledge them.

However, their moment was interrupted as Seth Rollins’ music hit the arena. Surprisingly though, it wasn’t the visionary who came out to the stage.

It turned out to be the biggest villain for the New York Knicks, Tyrese Haliburton. He reached the ring with a steel chair in his hand as Brunson and Reigns looked on.

This proved to be a perfect ruse as Seth Rollins jumped Roman from behind and took him out. Haliburton then handed the chair to Rollins, who pushed Brunson to the side.

He was about to hit Roman with a Stomp on the chair, but Brunson stepped in between to stop the attack. This allowed Reigns enough time to hit Seth with a Superman punch.

Reigns then took him out with a massive Spear and celebrated in the ring with Brunson. He tied Jalen’s belt around his waist before posing with the NBA Championship trophy as Jalen raised Roman’s belt above his head to end the night.
