With various moves now seemingly banned by AEW, it would seem some competitors found out at different times to others.

Earlier this week, a list of moves was circulated which it was reported had now been banned by AEW. Although it does seem that there are now various conditions surrounding the more dangerous parts of a moveset, it would seem that they are now still allowed in certain circumstances as long as approval is sought first. This does at least put limitations on wrestlers taking things too far unnecessarily.

However, a new report would indicate that some wrestlers were unaware that these new conditions were coming in to effect until they were circulated in the wrestling press. According to the report from Fightful Select, several wrestlers weren’t warned in advance that they would now be under these restrictions, and only found out when the initial report went on the site.

A lot of talk about dangerous moves has come about since Forbidden Door, where Will Ospreay hit a Tiger Driver ’91 on Kenny Omega during their IWGP United States Championship match which looked like an extremely uncomfortable landing for ‘The Best Bout Machine’. However, he has since hit out at the comments about it being dangerous.
