Vince McMahon To Appear In Court Following Car Crash
Vince McMahon has been in a car accident.
According to a new report from TMZ, Vince McMahon was involved in a “bad” car accident on July 24 in Connecticut. Despite the severity of the incident, no one was injured.
As noted in the crash report, McMahon’s Bentley was travelling north on Route 15 in Westport when it crashed into the back of a BMW 430 and collided with a guardrail. Debris from the accident flew onto the opposite side of the road, where it was hit by a Ford Fusion heading southbound.
All three cars had to be towed from the scene, and there was damage done to around 30 feet of the median guardrail.
Following the crash, McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely, resulting in an accident. He’ll now appear in court in August.
Legal Problems Continue For Vince McMahon
The news comes after eight men filed their formal opposition to a court motion filed by Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO. The filing was made after those listed requested to dismiss what has been dubbed the ring boys lawsuit.
Back in October, it was announced that a lawsuit had been filed against Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO. The suit alleges that those named were complicit in the sexual exploitation of children by former ring announcer and ring crew chief Melvin Phillips Jr.
It’s alleged that McMahon and others were “fully aware” of the abuses suffered by the “ring boys” who often did odd jobs for the company in preparation for shows.
