WWE Star Kevin Owens Set To Host NXT Great American Bash Watch Party
Kevin Owens is scheduled to host the official watch party at the upcoming WWE NXT Great American Bash tailgate event. He will join Busted Open’s Dave LaGreca for the tailgate and watch party.
The Prizefighter has been out of action since early 2025. He was scheduled to wrestle Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. However, he had to be pulled from the event because of a neck and spine injury. He underwent successful neck fusion surgery in July 2025 and is currently on a lengthy medical hiatus to ensure full recovery.
Kevin Owens was a coach on WWE LFG season three on A&E. In a WWE LFG teaser video, he explained why he joined LFG during his medical hiatus. He revealed that even though he’s not allowed to wrestle, he wanted to work for WWE in some capacity.
He said that he has been wrestling for 25 years, and being away from the ring has been tough on him. He wanted to be around the business, and hence, he joined LFG season 3. Owens added that he also wanted to help the next generation.
“I’ve been wrestling for 25 years. Ultimately, for me, I just want to help the next generation. Also, I don’t really know what I’d do with myself if I didn’t. This is all I’ve done since I was 15. This is what I love and have always loved. Right now, I’ve been off for eight, nine months, because of my neck surgery. I’m losing it. I just want to be around it.”
