Untold Story | Paige: WWE Star Stopped A Pedophile From Trying To Have S*x With Me

WWE star Paige revealed a shocking story from her personal life.

Despite being only 33, Paige has experienced several challenges in her personal life, including a leak of private videos involving Brad Maddox and Xavier Woods.

In her autobiography, “Hell in Boots: Clawing My Way Through Nine Lives,” the current Women’s Tag Team Champion opened up about another traumatic incident from her early teenage days.

Paige went with her mom and brothers to Scotland, where she met a wrestler named Jay. She noted that Jay was in his twenties while she was 14. However, he would text her flirtatiously and send her topless pictures.

Looking back, I should’ve thought that a grown man texting me, a young girl, was absolutely disgusting and insane. But I was fourteen, and at the time I was thinking only, Wow, this man thinks I’m so ‘mature’ for my age, and Wow, he keeps telling me how beautiful I am. At that age, I hadn’t had sex; I hadn’t even done anything with a boy. (Minus Todd when I was younger, but that wasn’t something I had consented to, either.) Mum and I finally made it to Scotland.

Jay was chatty with me straightaway. He wasn’t shy about conversing with me, that’s for sure. He followed me around everywhere. We were in the ring training, and then he rolled in and started getting playful. I just thought it was funny. He chased me around the building, trying to tickle me. Well, he caught me and grabbed me. Turned me upside down and shoved his face in between my legs. At that point, I stopped laughing, and it made me feel uncomfortable.

Paige’s mom saw what he did from across the hall and went ballistic. She grabbed a fire extinguisher and tried to attack Jay before wrestlers, including a young Drew McIntyre, who had not seen what happened, stepped in to stop her. Although Jay claimed he did not mean anything, Paige’s mother warned him to stay away from her daughter.

Nevertheless, Jay had another inappropriate encounter with Paige later that same night after her match. This time, McIntyre stepped up to him.

Later on that night, I sat in the corner, trying to cool down after my match. Jay found me right away. “Wow… you look like you just had s*x. It’s so s*xy.” This time, though, Drew heard. “What the f**k did you just say to her?” Jay had gained some undeserved confidence from what he had gotten away with earlier. With a creepy smile that I’ll never forget, he gave the same half-a**ed excuse, sure he would be let off the hook again. It didn’t work.

Drew looked furious. “Let’s go talk.” Drew grabbed him by the back of his neck and pulled him away. Even through the walls, I could hear the muffled yelling from Drew as he lost it on Jay in the other room. Whatever Drew said, it worked. From that day on, Jay did not make eye contact with me. Didn’t try to talk to me. Didn’t send me inappropriate messages. Didn’t chase me around and shove his face in between my fourteen year-old legs as a ‘joke.’

Paige Is Forever Grateful To Drew McIntyre

In her book, Paige revealed that Jay was later convicted of several s*x offenses against children. She admitted to feeling thankful for Drew McIntyre for saving her from a pedophile.

The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion noted that the situation could have been more awful if not for The Scottish Warrior’s interference.

I was so thankful that Drew McIntyre was there to scare Jay off . He stopped a pedophile from trying to groom and have s*x with me. He saved me from what could’ve been an even more awful situation. I’m forever grateful to Drew for that night. If somehow Drew sees this: Thank you, forever.

While McIntyre is now one of the top superstars in WWE, Paige recently returned to the Stamford-based company to become a champion on her first night back.
