A rising young star in WWE wants to test himself against Roman Reigns, whom he calls a dream opponent.

As a WWE main eventer for more than a decade, Roman Reigns knows what it’s like to have a target on his back, so to speak.

Roman Reigns is a 7-time WWE World Champion who retired the Universal Title and now holds the World Heavyweight Title, which was created after the Universal Title was eliminated. In addition to that, Reigns has main evented more WrestleManias than anyone in WWE history – 11 – and still has many more years left as a 41-year-old.

Even though Roman Reigns isn’t working a full-time schedule anymore, he still demands a lot of respect, and not just because he’s the Tribal Chief.

That respect that Reigns commands has been earned, and WWE superstars like Trick Williams know it. The US Champion Williams was asked by Travis Singleton of Sneaker Reporter about his three dream matches. Williams chose two current stars, including Reigns, and a WWE Hall of Famer who has supported Williams since day one.

“There’s three of them that I want. First, I’m going to go with GUNTHER, because I feel like he’s the best heel in the game today. GUNTHER’s special, man. I love the way he works, I love the way he moves. The General, I just think he’s dope.

Booker T, of course. The honor it would be to be his, maybe, possibly, his last match. I just think that would be amazing. I would love to work against Booker T, it’d be great.

Thirdly, the Tribal Chief, the real one, Roman Reigns. I believe he’s the most overall complete superstar in the game today. That’s where I want to be, I want to be the best in the game, so I need to go against the best. That’s the match that I want.”

While Booker T may be content in WWE retirement, those Trick Williams matches with Gunther and Roman Reigns are certainly a possibility as long as Trick continues his ascent to the top.

Roman Reigns Feels There’s A Lot Left For Him To Do In WWE

In an interview before he won the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 42 and turned 41, Roman Reigns said he still has a lot of time left as a WWE superstar.

“There is still a little more juice to squeeze. Almost there, but not quite. I still feel like I have a lot to offer. I’m 40 years young. With everything that we have within sports science, nutrition, all the information we have, careers have been extended.

We also get to a point where you grind it out early in your career, and then once you get towards the back end, that equity kicks in, and then you get into a different ballpark as far as finances. I’m not going to leave the park now.

If the ATM machine is broken, you’re not going to run away from it. You’re going to keep collecting that money. I still feel like, creatively, there is so much left for me to do, and there is still a great deal of earning for me to take advantage of.”

Roman Reigns will return to WWE Monday Night Raw on June 15th as he continues to unite his family members, including The Usos and Jacob Fatu, with others potentially down the road.
