The final King of the Ring first-round match main evented WWE SmackDown tonight, which saw Finn Balor, Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Royce Keys battle it out for the final Semi-Final spot of the tournament.

This was Finn’s first match on the blue brand since being traded to the show from RAW. The match had a lot of history between the competitors, with LA Knight and Jey Uso already at each other’s throats for the last few weeks.

Oba Femi, Dominik Mysterio, and Je’Von Evans have already advanced to the semis. Oba is set to take on Dominik Mysterio next week on WWE RAW, and the winner of tonight’s match will meet Evans in the semi-final.

The match had some extremely close calls as all wrestlers came close to winning the match. Jey Uso was on a mission to win the match tonight after being sent by Roman to dethrone Cody Rhodes.

He had Jimmy Uso by his side, but he only stood on the sidelines to prevent any interference in the match. He was joined by Solo Sikoa, who tried to help Royce Keys pick up the win.

Knight and Jey were going after each other throughout the match, but were stopped by Balor, who asked them to put their differences aside and work together to take Royce Keys out. The trio then delivered a powerbomb to Royce through the announce table.

They began fighting amongst themselves after taking Keys out, and Finn hit the Coup de Grace on Jey for the win. However, he was pulled from the ring by a recovered Keys. Knight then took Solo and slammed him into Jimmy, sending them into the timekeeper’s area.

The match devolved into chaos from there on as Knight and Keys fought it out to advance to the next round. With LA Knight resting on the ropes, Solo attacked him from behind and struck him with the Samoan Spike, before Keys hit the Spinebuster on him.

He went for the pin on LA Knight, but a recovered Jey hit him with the Uso Splash, taking him out and getting the pin on Knight to advance to the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament.
