A WWE Hall of Famer could reportedly be returning to the promotion.

Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) is a former one-time Tag Team Champion and European Champion. He was also a 3-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion before the rival promotion was bought by Vince McMahon in 2001.

He was one of the few WCW talents to sign with the World Wrestling Federation, entering into a feud with The Undertaker with the latter’s then-wife, Sara, as the central figure in the storyline.

The following year, he sustained a serious neck injury. After consulting multiple doctors, he announced his retirement in June 2002.

Page returned to wrestling in 2004 and made appearances for several promotions, including Total Nonstop Action (TNA) and Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW).

He had another stint in WWE between 2011 and 2017 before he made appearances for AEW in 2019-2020.

DDP Discussed For A WWE Return

Since 2024, Diamond Dallas Page has been signed to WWE under the Legends contract.

His last appearance for the Stamford promotion was during the 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony, where he inducted his long-time friend Lex Luger.

Page is also known for DDP Yoga, an online fitness video business. The 70-year-old famously helped Luger, who was wheelchair-bound, with his paralysis, enabling him to stand up for his Hall of Fame speech.

According to a report by Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, DDP has been discussed internally for a WWE appearance in the near future.

As of this moment, it is unclear how Page would be used on television. The source also added that if the plan moved forward, Page could return to make a one-off appearance as opposed to being a regular in a storyline.

The report also noted that DDP was close to Cody Rhodes, sparking speculations about the two superstars sharing screen space sometime soon.
