Two More AEW Stars Facing Significant Time Out

Buddy Murphy with House of Black in AEW

The injury list is mounting up for AEW with one recently deposed champion facing surgery and another big star out of action indefinitely.

Former AEW World Champion MJF is set to be out for even longer after he was forced to undergo surgery for his injuries. That news came on the same day that another AEW star was hit by a bus as they tried to recover from another injury. And the bad news keeps coming.

Fightful Select has reported that Julia Hart is set to miss time from the ring with an injury and is expected to be gone from television. Hart was said to be injured in the weeks leading up to her TBS Title match with Willow Nightingale at Dynasty which Nightingale won. The early indications of her injury is that Hart will require surgery.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reported that Powerhouse Hobbs is suffering from an injury which is believed to be significant. Hobbs isn’t expected back on AEW TV any time soon.

Two AEW Stars Set To Return Soon?

In more positive news, Adam Cole appears to be closing on a return to the ring after rising from his wheelchair at Dynasty. While the moment was far from confirmation that Cole has been cleared, the big on-screen development appeared to hint he’ll soon be back in action.

Long-term absentee Kenny Omega will be back on Dynamite on May 1st when AEW returns to Winnipeg. Omega has been sidelined since being diagnosed with diverticulitis back in December.
