AEW Star Hit By A Bus, Still Attends Broadway Play

Darby Allin, AEW logo blur

A top AEW star has escaped serious injury after being hit by a bus.

Darby Allin might not have wrestled since March, but he’s still finding ways to get himself into trouble. The former TNT Champion suffered a broken foot in a match against Jay White on Dynamite Big Business and hasn’t wrestled since.

The injury also ended his bid to climb Everest.

Posting on social media, Allin revealed he’d been hit by a bus as he tried to cross the street in New York. Thankfully, the star escaped relatively unscathed and still made it to see a Broadway play with artist Raymond Pettibon.

AEW Star Undergoes Surgery

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that MJF’s AEW absence is set to continue after he underwent surgery on a shoulder injury. The report notes that physical therapy failed to fix the problem, so the star was forced to go under the knife. The report added that his injury coupled with Adam Cole’s injury problems have “dramatically affected” creative plans.

MJF hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Samoa Joe at Worlds End in December.

There’s currently no timetable for a return to the ring.
