Top WWE Megastar Tipped To Replace Cody Rhodes As #1 Babyface

Cody Rhodes has been WWE’s biggest babyface for several years, but should that change now?

On a recent episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, wrestling veteran Disco Inferno argued that The American Nightmare should have been the one to turn heel in his feud with Randy Orton instead of The Viper.

The former WCW star also claimed that Rhodes’ popularity among the WWE Universe was “fake,” suggesting he might get booed when he goes one-on-one with Orton.

Disco Inferno Names Cody Rhodes’ Potential Replacement As WWE’s Top Babyface

During the same episode of Keepin’ It 100, Disco Inferno’s co-host, AAA Hall of Famer Konnan, disclosed that he believes Cody Rhodes is still over enough to be WWE’s top babyface.

Inferno disagreed, suggesting that The American Nightmare should be the top heel. Meanwhile, he tipped Roman Reigns to replace Rhodes as the company’s number one babyface.

Konnan: I still think Cody’s over enough to be the number one guy. Who do you think should be number one?

Inferno: I think he should be the number one heel.

Konnan: Okay, who should be the number one babyface?

Inferno: Roman Reigns. [5:02 onwards]
