The Elite are going for gold in New York City.

On Dynamite in Cincinnati, Hangman Adam Page continued his seven-month winning streak in singles competition as he defeated Brian Cage. Cage jumped Page afterward with the former AEW World Champion being saved by The Young Bucks.

On Collision, The Bucks and Page appeared and issued a challenge to Cage as well as his fellow ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona to face them with their gold on the line at Rampage Grand Slam in New York City.

The Young Bucks and Adam Page previously won that title when they defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys for the gold in August 2017 in Edinburgh, Scotland. They held the gold for 201 days until losing to SCU at the ROH 16th Anniversary Show in March 2018.
