Seth Rollins Shares Plans For In-Ring Return

Seth Rollins WWE World Champion

Seth Rollins is inching closer to an in-ring return.

Following a successful World Title defence on WWE Raw against Jinder Mahal, it was revealed that Seth Rollins had suffered a knee injury and speculation began running wild suggesting he could miss WrestleMania.

However, appearing on the January 22nd episode of the red brand, Seth Rollins told fans that he’d suffered a torn MCL as well as a partially torn medial meniscus, but crucially he intends to compete in Philadelphia.

Appearing on Good Morning Football, Rollins discussed his injury and said that he’ll be back for WrestleMania “no problem.” The World Heavyweight Champion added that he hopes to wrestle again within a few weeks.

“Oh, WrestleMania 40, no problem. We got this bad boy. We got this. I’ll be back way before then, for sure. I tore my MCL, tore my meniscus about three weeks ago now, and it sucks. If you’ve ever had an MCL sprain or any sort of damage to that part of your knee, it’s not comfortable. But doing all the right things, rehabbing.

Fortunately, it was just a partial tear and not a full tear. We’re able to avoid surgery for the time being. We’ll see what happens after WrestleMania. We’ll see how long I can ride on these wheels, but rehab’s going great. I feel great,

I feel like I recently just kind of turned a corner, as a matter of fact, on this knee. So I’m feeling really good. Definitely will be ready before WrestleMania, and I’m hoping sometime in the next few weeks,”

Seth Rollins Says WWE Doesn’t Need The Rock

During the same interview, Seth Rollins also had some words for The Rock.

The Monday Night Raw star said that with WWE being so popular, it’s no wonder The Rock wants in — but WWE doesn’t need him.
