Seth Rollins is currently promoting the 2026 Royal Rumble, scheduled for Saturday.

Rollins is out of action due to an injury he sustained in October 2025 during the Crown Jewel PLE. He recently revealed that he had gotten rid of his braces and was on his way to recovery.

During his absence, several WWE superstars have confirmed their spot in the men’s Royal Rumble match, including Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, Penta, and Rey Mysterio.

The Visionary recently appeared on ESPN’s Get Up, where he spoke about the 30-person elimination matches and how they lead to a confirmed title opportunity at WrestleMania.

Seth Rollins also discussed surprises, returns of past wrestlers, and the beginning of new rivalries. He then praised Brock Lesnar, who recently confirmed entering the Royal Rumble match by making a virtual appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

The 39-year-old was then asked about the wrestler he hated the most, and without hesitation, he named CM Punk by pointing at his face on an advert.

Let’s see. Let’s take a look at this. I believe there’s a face that sticks out and it’s right next to my beautiful wife. It’s this ugly mug right here. You see this guy? The current World Heavyweight Champion of WWE, the guy who’s holding on to MY title. Keep it warm, Punk, because when I come back, it’s mine. That’s the guy. He’s the worst. [2:18 onwards]

What Is Seth Rollins’ Status For Royal Rumble?

During another media appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Seth Rollins revealed whether he is headed to Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble.

When asked if he would enter the match as a participant, Rollins confirmed what every wrestling fan thought, and that was no.

Oh, man. No, you know what? I’ll give it away. I’m not going to be at the Rumble. I cannot. I can’t. I just can’t. I would love to be in there and dump all those dudes over the top rope and punch my card to WrestleMania, but the doctors are just not going to let it happen this time around, unfortunately.

Despite missing the Royal Rumble, Rollins expects to be a 100% by WrestleMania, which is on April 18 & 19.
