Saudi Arabia Pushing To Host Huge WWE Event Ahead Of WrestleMania 43
Saudi Arabia is seemingly not satisfied with just hosting WWE WrestleMania in 2027.
In September 2025, in a joint press conference with Turki Alalshikh, Triple H announced that the greatest spectacle in wrestling would take place in the Kingdom next year.
The decision spurred mixed reactions from fans, with those in Western nations especially criticizing it.
Amid the US-Iran war, there were speculations about the annual premium live event being brought back to the States, but with the Royal Rumble having successfully taken place in January, WWE WrestleMania will indeed take place in Saudi Arabia next year.
Now, according to a report by WrestleVotes, Saudi Arabia is keen on hosting the Hall of Fame ceremony, too, which is a common tradition where legends of the business are honored for their past contributions.
Earlier this year, the likes of Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and Demolition were immortalized as inductees.
Speaking during the Q&A, JoeyVotes revealed that the country had discussed the possibility of hosting the ceremony.
I know Saudi Arabia has inquired about it.
TC, meanwhile, brushed away any mystery surrounding the ceremony, saying:
They want it. It’s gonna happen.
JoeyVotes further clarified that World Wrestling Entertainment was not planning on calling off the ceremony just because WrestleMania was taking place in a different country for the first time.
WWE isn’t going to miss a year.
TC went ahead and speculated that Saudi Arabia might turn the Hall of Fame event into something of an extravaganza by inviting several popular names in the country.

While the status of the ceremony is not yet locked in, discussions about it reveal how invested Saudi Arabia truly is in the presentation of major events locally.
WWE To Host Watch Parties At MSG During WrestleMania 43
While WWE did not directly address fans’ reactions about WrestleMania 43 being hosted by Saudi Arabia, it is taking proactive measures to cater to the local audience.
During WrestleMania 42, the promotion tried to ban watch parties within 50 miles of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to help improve its ticket sales. However, the move was canceled after it faced backlash from local businesses.
Reportedly, the Stamford-based company is now planning to organize watch parties at Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden on both Night 1 and Night 2 of WrestleMania 43.
As part of the WrestleMania weekend, WWE will also host NXT Stand & Deliver and AAA Eternal Glory at the same venue.
The company is further contemplating adding extra venues across the country, including select Cosm locations. To enhance fan experience, it will partner up with Fanatics and other retail activations in New York.
Madison Square Garden recently hosted Saturday Night’s Main Event, which was headlined by CM Punk and Cody Rhodes teaming up against Gunther and Sami Zayn in a tag team match.
