The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has prompted WWE to open discussions about hosting WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia as scheduled.

In September 2025, Triple H, along with Saudi Arabian Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, announced at a press conference that WrestleMania 43 would take place in The Kingdom.

Subsequently, the Stamford promotion issued a press release, promising to take the Show of Shows to unprecedented heights and discussing their partnership with Saudi Arabia, which began in 2018.

While the decision received mixed reactions from fans, Saudi authorities hoped to bring back legends for the show, with The Rock’s name reportedly thrown into the mix.

Over the last several days, a conflict has occurred in the Middle East, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia getting dragged into it, too.

Wrestling Observer‘s Brian Alvarez revealed that the war-like situation has led WWE to open discussions about the two upcoming shows in Saudi Arabia, as well as next year’s WrestleMania.

Alvarez also claimed that while talks did take place, no decisions about changing the host were made.
