Ronda Rousey’s AEW career might not even happen.

At AEW Revolution, the former WWE Superstar made an appearance after Toni Storm defeated Marine Shafir.

The appearance triggered several speculations about whether Ronda Rousey is about to begin a new pro-wrestling career with All Elite Wrestling.

Ronda Rousey’s AEW appearance was one-off

PWInsider reported that The Baddest Woman on the Planet’s AEW appearance was one-off, and there are no plans of any future appearances.

The goal behind her AEW Revolution appearance was to promote her return to MMA. She is retuning against Gina Carano. The match is being promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions and will stream on Netflix.

The match is scheduled for May 16th, 2026.

Ronda Rousey is also not expected back anytime soon. Rousey’s appearance at AEW Revolution was, as of now, just a one-off appearance designed to promote her MMA return and appear in support of Marina Shafir, who she has been close friends with for many years. [h/t: Ringside News]

Her return to MMA was supposed to be a deal under UFC, but that fell through. It has been speculated that her appearance on AEW may have been related to her dislike for TKO.
