Roman Reigns Warns Ex-WWE Champion: “You Asked For This”
After facing massive humiliation in the past two weeks, Roman Reigns finally got some revenge on Jacob Fatu this week.
The May 18 edition of Monday Night Raw kicked off with Reigns arriving at the arena, where he was met by Adam Pearce backstage. Pearce argued with Roman, saying that if he had only let him fire Jacob Fatu, then he wouldn’t have had to go through the humiliation last week. Reigns told Pearce that he wants to have a word with Fatu, and then he can fire him.
Before Reigns could call out Fatu to the ring, Fatu had already made his way to the ring and called Reigns out instead. The Usos showed up, with Jey Uso holding a steel chair. Jimmy Uso tried to work things out, but before any conversation could happen, Jey turned violent and tried to attack Fatu with the steel chair, which Fatu intercepted. Fatu then took out both Jimmy and Jey Uso with his Tongan Death Grip.

Shortly later, Roman Reigns’ music hit, and he made his way to the ring. Fatu locked Roman Reigns down with the Tongan Death Grip, but Jimmy and Jey Uso came to the save.
Jey Uso hit Fatu with a spear, and Jimmy Uso followed it up with a splash. They hit him with the 1D before trapping him between the ring ropes. Roman then hit him with the Superman Punch, and The Usos hit him with superkicks. They repeated the attack, and Reigns finally took down Fatu with a brutal spear.
After destroying Jacob Fatu, Roman Reigns and The Usos made their way backstage, where they were met by Adam Pearce on the Titantron. Pearce was just about to fire Jacob Fatu, but Fatu took the mic and challenged Roman Reigns to a Tribal Combat match.
Following Monday Night Raw, Reigns took to Twitter to send a message to Jacob Fatu, warning him about the repercussions of Tribal Combat.
He tweeted, “Just Remember. You Asked For This. #TribalCombat #WWERaw”
