Rhea Ripley’s True Feelings About Holding Titles In WWE
Rhea Ripley loves holding championship gold in WWE, but does she really need it to justify her status in the company?
At WrestleMania 42, Women’s Elimination Chamber Match winner Rhea Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Title.
After Ripley and Cargill exchanged words in the ring on SmackDown for several weeks, Cargill has had the upper hand on the last two SmackDowns since she gained Michin and B-Fab as allies. The trio of Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab have laid out Ripley two weeks in a row.
When Ripley faces Cargill at WrestleMania 42, it’s possible that Cargill’s new allies could prevent Ripley from becoming a 4-time WWE Women’s Champion.
In addition to being a 3-time WWE Women’s Champion, Ripley is also a 2-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, and she held the NXT Women’s Title, too.
Rhea Ripley Doesn’t Mind Being Without A Title In WWE
During an interview with The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, Rhea Ripley made the point that she doesn’t need to hold a title in WWE.
“I don’t know, I feel like kind of naked in a way without it, but at the same time, like, I don’t mind not having a title because I still feel like, kind of what you were saying, every time I walk through the curtain and walk onto the stage in front of everyone, I feel like a champion.
Yeah, so I feel like I don’t need a title to represent how dominant I am in the WWE. That being said, at WrestleMania, I will be getting a title.” (H/T Fightful)
