Rhea Ripley Reveals Scrapped WrestleMania 39 Plans

Rhea Ripley

At WrestleMania 39 Rhea Ripley walked into the SoFi Stadium as the challenger to the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but the star could have had a very special entrance for the event.

Rhea Ripley booked her place at WrestleMania 39 through winning the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble and in doing so became the first woman to win that match from the number one entrant position.

That gave Ripley a chance to avenge her WrestleMania 36 loss to Charlotte Flair and that’s exactly what she did when she captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship from The Queen.

However, Rhea Ripley revealed on The Battleground Podcast that she was originally hoping she’d have Motionless in White in town to play her theme live as she made her entrance on the grandest stage of them all:

“So I would absolutely love the Motionless in White to perform me out to the ring. We were trying to do it for WrestleMania 39, but unfortunately, they had a tour in Germany I believe, which was already rescheduled from the COVID era. So they had to do that, they couldn’t pull out again.

“But maybe SummerSlam or some sort of PLE they’ll be there to pull me out to the ring because I would love to be on the stage with my musically talented twin, Chris Motionless, and the rest of the Motionless in White.”
