NWA vs. AAA Announced For Smashing Pumpkins Gig

Billy Corgan will be bringing his wrestlers with him on his band’s next tour.

The Smashing Pumpkins are scheduled for at least one show in Mexico on March 4th, 2023. Tickets for this show go on sale on November 29th and can be purchased here.

And as part of that event’s entertainment, Corgan is promising a cross-promotional wrestling event as well with wrestlers from the NWA taking on wrestlers from AAA.

The full card has yet to be announced.

This announcement comes at a time when Corgan is in the middle of a controversial argument surrounding his soon-to-be-departing former champion Nick Aldis. The two have traded heated comments to and about each other in recent weeks regarding Aldis’ departure.

That departure was believed to have been caused by Corgan’s opinions regarding the lack of a second women’s only event in the NWA. Aldis has also blamed Billy Corgan for what he calls an ‘exodus’ of fans from the NWA.
