Nikki Bella Breaks Silence On WWE Royal Rumble Status
Several of WWE’s active talents have announced their participation in the Royal Rumble on Saturday.
One wrestler who has not officially made a statement about their presence at the PLE is Nikki Bella. Bella, however, has been captured attending fan events in Saudi Arabia.
She had participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble last year as a surprise entrant, coming in at #30. It was her first appearance in the company in over three years. She was eliminated by Nia Jax.
Bella would return full-time later that year, in June, ahead of the Evolution PLE. She immediately picked up a feud with Liv Morgan, which was supposed to carry on for a while, but was shelved due to Morgan suffering a legitimate injury.
She was later confirmed for the Evolution Battle Royal, which was won by Stephanie Vaquer, with Bella finishing in the top-4.
A few months down the line, she earned a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match, unsuccessfully challenging Becky Lynch at Clash in Paris.
Of late, Nikki Bella has been involved in a feud with Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship, which she also failed to win at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Nikki Bella Maintains The Mystery Of Her Royal Rumble Appearance
The last time Nikki Bella was spotted inside a WWE ring was during the November 29 Raw episode, where she fought Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s World Championship.
While she has remained absent, fans have wondered about her status going into the Royal Rumble.
While speaking on a recent episode of the Nikki and Brie Show, she touched upon the subject of the premium live event, but did not confirm whether or not she will enter as a participant.
The Runble’s always been one of my favorite pay-per-views and so it’s always one of the ones that I always make sure to tune in to, always one of the ones that I love being a part of. So, we’ll see. [1:11 onwards]
