A veteran wrestler believes that Nic Nemeth signing with TNA is huge for the company.

After WWE decided to release Dolph Ziggler in September 2023 after nearly 20 years in the company, there were a lot of questions about where Nic Nemeth would go next.

To start 2024, Nic Nemeth has already appeared at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 and looks like he’ll have a match with David Finlay at some point soon.

At the TNA rebirth show Hard To Kill in Las Vegas, Nic Nemeth was the big-name signing that TNA President Scott D’Amore had been promoting. Nemeth confronted new TNA World Champion Moose after Moose beat Alex Shelley to win the title. Moose tried to attack, but Nemeth hit him with a superkick and a Zig Zag neckbreaker.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, the two-time and current TNA World Champion Moose spoke about Nic Nemeth choosing to sign with TNA, as well as the addition of Ash By Elegance (formerly Dana Brooke in WWE).

“Even though he took me out, which I’m going to get mine back when the time is right, but let’s leave that alone. Talking about Nic coming into the company, I think it’s huge for TNA. Obviously, I’m a huge fan of his. He’s a superstar. He’s done everything in professional wrestling, he’s been World Champion, he’s been a tag team guy, he’s won every single title you can think about. He’s been all over the world. He has a huge buzz going right now.”

“For him to pick TNA over AEW and New Japan or any other company, that shows that TNA is a hot spot right now. I’m happy he’s part of the team, I’m happy I get to do something down the road with him. I’m happy that TNA is starting to be a spot where people want to come. Same thing with Ash By Elegance, her picking us over other companies out there, I’m happy she is part of the team and I can’t wait to see what the future brings with Nic and Ash.”

Nic Nemeth Will Talk On TNA Impact

For fans looking forward to hearing what Nic Nemeth might say on his TNA Impact debut, you won’t have to wait long since he’s been announced for some kind of promo on the January 18th edition of TNA Impact.

In addition to that, Nemeth has already taped his first TNA match, but that will likely air next week.
