More Superstars Announced For WWE Superstar Spectacle
The line-up grows for the WWE Superstar Spectacle show.
As announced on social media, the upcoming show in India will see appearances from Matt Riddle, Jinder Mahal, Bron Breakker and Shanky. At the time of writing, the listed Superstars have only been announced to appear and the matches they will be competing in have yet to be confirmed.
The account also confirms that Rhea Ripley will defend the Women’s World Championship against Natalya at the event. Natalya had previously stated that she would be competing for the title in an interview, but the match has now been made official.
The updated line-up for the event in Hyderabad is as follows:
- Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Veer and Sanga
- John Cena and Seth Rollins vs. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya – Singles match for the Women’s World Championship.
- Appearances from Matt Riddle, Jinder Mahal, Bron Breakker and Shanky
When Is The WWE Superstar Spectacle?
Hosting a show in India for the first time since 2016, the event will take place on Friday, September 8th. As this is the same day that SmackDown will air live in the United States, multiple talents will not be seen on the blue brand that evening. This will be the second time that the Premium Live Event for the Indian market has been broadcast following the inaugural show in 2021, which was held in the Thunder Dome due to the ongoing pandemic at the time.
This will also mark the first time ever that John Cena has competed in a match in India.
