AEW Dynamite this week aired live from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum as it followed up on last week’s shocking ending that saw Darby Allin dethrone MJF as the AEW World Champion.

A huge night is in store for the fans as the new AEW World Champion is set to address the crowd and will later defend his title for the first time against former TNT Champion, Tomasso Ciampa.

The night, however, was kicked off by former World Champion, MJF, who was furious after his loss last week and came out with a fiery promo against the likes of Allin, Hangman Page, and Kenny Omega.

MJF ranted about not being prepared for facing Allin last week, as he was just coming off a brutal match with Omega just three days prior and was only informed about the match on the same day it took place.

He called out the AEW World Champion and demanded that he hand over the title to him. Instead, he was greeted by another champion in the promotion as the newly crowned TNT Champion, Kevin Knight, came out to the ring.

Knight and MJF got into an argument with each other after the TNT Champion claimed that he had MJF beat for the World Title a couple of weeks ago, and he should’ve been a double champion. MJF’s views differed, and he looked down upon Knight as the TNT Champion.

He dismissed it as a secondary title before Knight challenged him to a match, which MJF only accepted after Kevin Knight put his TNT Championship on the line. It seemed like they would get into the match right away, before MJF slid out of the ring and stated that they’ll face off for the belt next week on Dynamite.
