BREAKING: New AEW World Champion Crowned, MJF Squashed In Minutes
AEW Dynamite had a huge main event in store for its fans as they were treated to a huge surprise with a new AEW World Champion being crowned just days after a major pay-per-view.
MJF had just defended the AEW World Championship in a brutal and exhausting match against Kenny Omega. He cheated his way to retain the title, but couldn’t keep hold of the belt for long.
Among the other major winners at Dynasty this past weekend was Darby Allin, who beat Andrade El Idolo to earn a shot at MJF’s World Championship, as was stipulated by the champion himself.

Tony Khan surprised everyone, including MJF, as he announced that the Salt of the Earth will defend his title in the main event of tonight’s episode against Darby Allin.
Allin was visited by his mentor and close ally, Sting, before the match, who offered him some words of encouragement. They seemed to have done the magic as Allin dethroned MJF within a matter of minutes.

Maxwell stooped to his antics early in the match and hit a low blow on Allin behind the referee’s back. However, Allin returned the favor to him and didn’t stop there. He followed that up with a Scorpion Death Drop out of nowhere.
Darby then went on to hit MJF with four successive Coffin Drops before hitting the Side Headlock Takeover and covering him for the pin to become the AEW World Heavyweight Champion. The entire locker room came out to celebrate Allin’s win, including his mentor, Sting, as the show went off the air.
