Maria Kanellis Undergoes Successful Surgery

Some positive news on Maria Kanellis.

Back in July, Maria Kanellis announced she would be undergoing surgery after a mass was found on her adrenal gland.

Over the following months the star has been open about her journey, and juggling the diagnosis with a career and family life.

In a new post on social media, Kanellis’ husband Mike Bennett confirmed she’s now undergone surgery and everything went as planned.

“Maria’s surgery went well. She is staying overnight at the hospital for observation and should be released tomorrow. My wife is a badass. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We love y’all so very much.”

Maria Kanellis On Verge Of AEW Success

Earlier in October, Maria Kanellis revealed her AEW contract will end on October 31st. The star signed with the company alongside Bennett in October 2022.

At the time Kanellis noted that she’d reached out to AEW management to discuss her future, but hadn’t heard anything in response. In an update on social media, she all but confirmed she would be leaving the company, noting she would be taking interviews to discuss her time there from November 1st.

Over the course of her career, Kanellis has worked for the likes of WWE, TNA Ring of Honor, NJPW, and more.
