Kevin Owens walks to the ring at WrestleMania 37

Kevin Owens is making his debut as a television actor although if you don’t speak French, it may be tough to understand what he is saying.

Former WWE Universal Champion and WrestleMania 38 main eventer Kevin Owens is going to take his talents to the acting world. The confident WWE superstar known for having a big mouth and hosting the “Kevin Owens Show” talk show is going to be a part of a French language show.

Owens is from Marievielle, Quebec and grew up speaking French. In the past, he has talked about how he learned to speak and understand English by watching WWE programming as a kid.

Recently, Owens filmed scenes for a French-language show that will air in 2023. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided more information on KO’s acting debut.

“Kevin Owens makes his acting debut in a 2023 series on Quebec television. The show is a French language show on Crave called “Bon Matin Chuck” (Good Morning Chuck) directed by JF Rivard, who has a very good reputation as a TV director in Quebec. Rivard and two of the producers, Lou Belanger and Marieme Ndiaye, are wrestling fans and because of that asked for Owens on the show. His scenes for 2023 have already been filmed.”

As for his WWE career, Owens suffered an MCL sprain in his knee last weekend during a live event match against Austin Theory. Owens finished the match with a Stunner for the win, but he needed help going to the back. It was also revealed that Owens was also going to be the fifth member on the Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Ridge Holland & Butch team at Survivor Series that will be in a WarGames match against The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, Jimmy & Jey Uso.

In an update on Thursday, it was reported that Owens is expected to be at WWE Friday Night Smackdown tonight as well as Raw and Smackdown next week with the hope that he’ll still be able to compete at Survivor Series. We should find out more tonight on Smackdown.
