Kevin Owens Names Former WWE Champion That’s Most Painful To Wrestle

Kevin Owens walks to the ring at WrestleMania 37

Kevin Owens has had plenty of opponents in his wrestling career, and he says one former WWE Champion is the most painful of them all!

Throughout his decades in the professional wresting business, Kevin Owens has faced opponents of all shapes and sizes. However, in a new interview with The Happy Hour, Owens named Bobby Lashley as the most painful opponent of all, saying that there’s nothing about The Almighty that doesn’t hurt.

“There’s nothing about Bobby Lashley that doesn’t hurt, even when you hit him he’s just made out of rocks so you hurt your arm hitting him. I see my name against him for a match, and I’m like, ‘oh, this is gonna be rough.'”

While Owens doesn’t have a match scheduled for WWE Crown Jewel, Lashley is set to face Brock Lesnar at the event in Saudi Arabia. Tension between the two has been brewing ever since Lesnar made his return to WWE on October 10th for the first time since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.

On WWE Raw’s season premiere, Lesnar laid out Bobby Lashley with multiple F5’s before locking in a Kimura. The attack on Bobby Lashley left him unable to apply the Hurt Lock in his match against Seth Rollins, and he lost the United States Championship as a result.

Fast forward to the Halloween edition of Monday Night Raw, and there was another brawl between Lesnar and Lashley. Multiple security personnel attempted to break up the melee, but the two only agreed to separate for good after Triple H appeared and declared that if they touched again before November 5th, their Crown Jewel bout would be called off.
