Chris Jericho went to great lengths to inflict pain on his AEW Redemption opponent.

“The Painmaker” Chris Jericho faced ex-WWE star Tommaso Ciampa in a No Holds Barred Match at the Redemption PPV. The two stars used anything and everything to take each other out. It was a brutal, gory match that saw both superstars tear each other apart.

As the match neared its end, Jericho grew frustrated because he had used every move in his arsenal to defeat Tommaso Ciampa, but Ciampa refused to give up. So, Jericho pulled out his ultimate weapon in an attempt to secure the victory.

Chris Jericho Forces Tommaso Ciampa To Tap Out

He pulled out a drill and was about to use it on Ciampa’s skull, which was already oozing blood. Ciampa panicked, and before Jericho could put a hole in his head, he tapped out. The referee immediately stopped the match, handing Jericho a huge victory.

Tommaso Ciampa joined AEW earlier this year. He made his AEW debut as a babyface on the January 28, 2026 episode of Dynamite, where he answered Mark Briscoe’s open challenge for the AEW TNT Championship and then went on to defeat Briscoe for the title on Collision three days later.
