While WWE fans may not have seen John Morrison for a few years, the wrestler remains in great shape and knows how to throw some good punches too.

John Morrison has had a memorable career as a pro wrestler from the time he won WWE Tough Enough 3 to many years working for WWE and then having success out of WWE as well. The man whose real name is John Hennigan also used many “Johnny” names throughout his career also.

On Saturday night, John Morrison participated in a Creator Clash 2 boxing event. It’s a charity boxing event that sees content creators in different genres facing off. For Morrison, it was his debut.

Creator Clash 2 was held at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Morrison had several well-known wrestling personalities as part of his entourage including his wife Taya Valkyrie of AEW, trainer Josh Barnett, AEW’s Jake Hager, WWE’s LA Knight, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Vic Joseph, Mckenzie Mitchell, former WWE star Mojo Rawley, Super Panda and WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan too.

Morrison fought Harley Morenstein of Epic Meal Times in a one-sided battle dominated by Morrison.

The former three-time Intercontinental Champion Morrison knocked down Morenstein multiple times in the first two rounds. That included a barrage of punches that led to Morenstein dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring for a breather.

In the third round, Morrison ended the fight with a right-handed punch to the jaw to knock Morenstein out. The referee called for the fight to end there with Morrison winning by third round knockout.

Even though he lost, Morenstein was a good sport about it saying he was beyond grateful to fight Morrison.

John Morrison had two different stints in WWE. He spent nearly a decade in the company from 2002 to 2011 and had another two-year run from late 2019 to late 2021. In WWE, Morrison was a three-time Intercontinental Champion, six-time Tag Team Champion, ECW Champion and is known for being one of the best athletes to compete in a WWE ring.

Outside of WWE, Morrison had a lot of success winning championships in companies like TNA/Impact Wrestling, AAA, Lucha Underground, MLW and more. At 43 years old, Morrison continues to wrestle for various independent wrestling promotions.

Congratulations to John Morrison on winning his boxing debut.
