John Cena Reacts To NXT Appearance

John Cena has given his thoughts on what it was like being at NXT for the first time.

On Tuesday night’s episode of NXT, John Cena was one of the big stars that WWE promoted for the show. Others included Cody Rhodes, Asuka was in action against Roxanne Perez, Paul Heyman was there and WWE played the start of The Undertaker’s music at the end of a commercial to let fans know that The Undertaker would be there too.

Cena did a promo during the show in front of a raucous NXT crowd. Cena was really impressed by the fans singing his theme song as well. Unfortunately for Cena, Bron Breaker interrupted his promo. Bron was a disrespectful young heel that he tends to be and then they got into a bit of a fight, but Cena was ready for it. Bron escaped before Cena could hit him with an Attitude Adjustment.

In the main event, Carmelo Hayes picked up the big win over Breakker while Cena was in Melo’s corner while Heyman was there to support Breakker. After the show, The Undertaker showed up and gave a Chokeslam to Breakker.

On X/Twitter, John Cena commented on how he felt about being a part of the NXT experience.

A really special night at @WWENXT. Being “present” in that ring and enjoying the crowd at the #WWENXT Arena is something special.

THANK YOU to @ShawnMichaels, the entire roster, @Undertaker, @WWEAsuka, @CodyRhodes, @HeymanHustle, @Carmelo_WWE and everyone who made it so much fun.

John Cena is coming off a big victory at WWE Fastlane

This past Saturday at WWE Fastlane, John Cena teamed up with LA Knight to defeat Solo SIkoa & Jimmy Uso in one of the biggest matches of the show. Knight got the win for the team with the BFT. After the match, Knight raised Cena’s hand just like Cena did to Knight one month earlier at Payback.

As for what’s next, Cena is going to be at WWE Smackdown this Friday. Roman Reigns is back on Smackdown after two months away as well. Those two men aren’t supposed to be in a storyline moving forward, but it should be interesting to see what Cena does next.
