Jinder Mahal thinks he can go all the way in the 2024 Royal Rumble.
Ever since AEW President Tony Khan blasted WWE’s booking of Jinder Mahal on social media, the Modern Day Maharaja has seen a surge in popularity. In an attempt to capitalise on his momentum, Mahal challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title on the January 15th edition of Raw.
Despite assistance from Indus Sher and the distraction of Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre fighting at ringside, Mahal couldn’t put Rollins away and eventually fell to a Stomp. However, the star’s dream of capturing a World Championship again hasn’t ended quite yet.
Speaking to WWE India, Mahal claimed that he could win the Royal Rumble if he is able to enter it.
“The way the year 2024 has been going, I feel like I can win it, but I’m trying my best to be in it. Let’s make noise. Let’s get the WWE Universe to tweet, get on social media, tag Triple H, let’s tag WWE, let’s make it happen.”
If Jinder isn’t able to compete in the 30-man spectacular, he hopes India can still be represented by one of the members of Indus Sher.
“Let’s either get myself or one of Indus Sher, Veer or Sanga, at least in the Royal Rumble, one of us. India needs to be represented in the Royal Rumble, so guys, let’s make some noise. Let’s make it happen.”
