Jey Uso Issues Statement Before WWE Royal Rumble, And Botches It
Jey Uso made a hilarious error in an Instagram story he shared about the Royal Rumble.
Jey Uso is one-half of the World Tag Team Champions on Raw with his brother Jimmy. The pair won the tag titles last year on the final Raw episode of 2025 by defeating the team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
The reason the Usos became a tag team again was that Main Event Jey was losing many of his singles bouts, and his brother Jimmy suggested that they go back to being a team and contend in the tag team division.
The pair first reunited to take on The New Day, then dominated the tag team division over the following weeks before eventually becoming 9-time Tag Team Champions.
However, Jimmy Uso is on hiatus, leaving Jey to wrestle solo once again. Jey has entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match and will be trying to win it to get a shot at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Uso would be hoping for history to repeat itself, as he was the winner of 2025’s Royal Rumble bout, which Jey won after eliminating WWE Legend John Cena. Uso then went to WrestleMania to defeat Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Jey Uso Botches Huge Royal Rumble Statement On Instagram
Uso took to Instagram to post a story saying he was going to win the Royal Rumble match, but made a typing error, and it ended up being “I’m gonna when the Royal Rumble again.”
Uso corrected the error on his next story with an awkward face emoji. Check out Jey’s story here.
It remains to be seen how Jey performs in the Rumble match, and fans can tune in to watch the Royal Rumble on January 31st.
