Jade Cargill Working With Rising Star Ahead Of WWE Debut

Jade Cargill’s in-ring WWE debut appears to be inching nearer.

Despite the former AEW star appearing on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT since making the jump to WWE, she’s yet to make her in-ring debut. However, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been working hard behind the scenes.

Cargill continues to work out at the Performance Center and it seems she hasn’t been honing her skills alone. It’s been reported by Wrestle Purists that Cargill has been training with Roxanne Perez as well as others.

Perez is highly thought of by WWE and has won the Women’s Breakout Tournament, NXT Women’s Title, and NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles despite being just 22.

When Did Jade Cargill Sign With WWE?

On September 26th Cargill became the biggest AEW star since Cody Rhodes to make the jump to WWE. It was reported that the former TBS Champion had signed a multi-year deal, with WWE treating the acquisition as a major coup for the company.

After signing with WWE, it was reported that Jade Cargill turned down two big offers from AEW to renew her contract. Despite AEW boss Tony Khan making repeated attempts to keep Cargill, the former TBS Champion let her contract with All Elite Wrestling expire.

Although Cargill has never worked with WWE before, she did have a try-out with the company in 2019.
