It’s Official! Top AEW Star Joins Death Riders
A new Death Riders member has officially been unveiled in AEW.
Death Riders are one of the most dominant factions in the Jacksonville-based promotion’s history. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Marina Shafir, and Daniel Garcia have run roughshod over the AEW roster.
Now, they are a whole lot stronger following a blockbuster addition.
AEW star accepts Jon Moxley’s offer
Will Ospreay defeated Swerve Strickland in the Owen Hart Cup tournament final at Forbidden Door to earn an AEW World Title opportunity at All In at Wembley.
A segment aired during this week’s Dynamite, where Jon Moxley handed a Death Riders patch to The Aerial Assassin. Not surprising really, based on the recent history between Ospreay and the Moxley-led faction.
Later on in the night, Will Ospreay joined forces with Jon Moxley to take on Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. In the end, Moxley hit the Paradigm Shift on Johnson, and Ospreay followed up with the Hidden Blade for the three-count.
More importantly, it was visible that Will Ospreay had the Death Riders patch on his ring gear, confirming that he has officially joined the stable.
With the patch adorning @WillOspreay‘s gear and their win tonight, it’s official. The Billy Goat has joined the Death Riders!
