The Street Profits have been off WWE television since October 2025.

Angelo Dawkins and Motez Ford, who are 3-time tag champions on the main roster, lost to the Wyatt Sicks during the October 10 taping of SmackDown in Perth, Australia, in their last match.

They were subsequently featured on Main Event before disappearing from TV.

The duo resurfaced in late January 2026 during NXT Live shows across different cities in the United States. Now, a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has revealed that their return might be in the works.

The Street Profits have been discussed creatively, and that a return could be in the works. There were sources indicating that a return to TV could also be in the works, but did not note if that could happen before or after WrestleMania.

The duo has been off WWE TV since October, and wrestled a few matches on NXT live events at the end of January. As best we know, they do not have injuries.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match Announced For SmackDown

While WWE contemplates the return of The Street Profits, its Friday Night SmackDown taping moves forward with a huge title match.

General manager Nick Aldis announced that the current tag champions, MFT, will defend the title against Damian Priest and R-Truth on March 20.

Both Priest and Truth competed in a tag team gauntlet match a couple of weeks ago, which they won by defeating Los Garza in the final.

MFT’s Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga have held the championship since the January 23 episode of the blue brand. Their match on Friday will be the first official title defense.

Also on the show, Randy Orton will explain his actions from last week, where he viciously attacked the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
